Intravenous training includes instruction on the basic anatomy of the circulatory system, types and functions of equipment, management and prevention of complications which may arise as the result of IV therapy, legal and ethical implications, practical applications such as vein selection and patient care. This training prepares the healthcare worker for safely and effectively administering IV therapy in a clinical setting.
