X-ray Technologist (NCT)

The goal of the X-Ray Technologist Program is to provide students with basic knowledge and skills required for a challenging career in radiography in a variety of medical institutions. Qualified instructors will effectively train individuals to safely and responsibly operate x-ray equipment. The X-Ray Technologist will be able to perform routine diagnostic x-ray procedures with consideration to patient rights and safety in accordance with the Texas Medical Board.
The program requirements include a minimum of 120 hours. Discussion with the students include researching job leads and applying strategies and personal qualities to keep a job and advance in a career. We offer all students assistance in writing a resume and interview skills. While we do not do job placement, we do assist by keeping a current list of jobs posted on our job board located in the school.
